While October 3rd marks the 20th anniversary of the reunification of German, it has also been marked as the “official” end of a war that took place nearly a century ago. The signing of the Versaille Treaty in 1919 – 91 years ago – ended the fighting from the first World War, though in this document were also agreements for war reparations from Germany. Today, Germany has paid their last amount – aroud $95 million – to give World War I a monetary ending.
